Ranveer Singh is one of the top actors in the Bollywood industry and has been working in the industry for more than 12 years now. The celebrated cricketer today spoke about the ‘El Classico of IPL‘ which is the rivalry between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

Ranveer hails from Mumbai and hence will always be partial to Mumbai Indians. The sports buff also added that Chennai Super Kings is his second favourite team and he always roots for both the teams.

“When MI & CSK go up against each other it’s always a grand spectacle to witness. My favourite IPL memory was when Mumbai Indians did the unthinkable and won that final against the Chennai Super Kings on the last ball of the tournament, I just simply went ballistic,” Ranveer said in a video released by Mumbai Indians.

Ranveer Singh will be supporting his hometown team Mumbai Indians today when they go up against the Chennai Super Kings at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai for two crucial points to keep themselves alive in the playoff race.

Both teams are looking for points urgently if they need to qualify for the play-offs in May. Only time will tell which team is better looking and can dominate their arch-rivals in this mega contest.

“Requesting CSK to please play Dwaine Pretorius” – Aakash Chopra

Former Indian batter Aakash Chopra wants the Chennai Super Kings(CSK) to replace England pacer Chris Jordan with South Africa’s Dwaine Pretorius for their forthcoming IPL 2022 matches. Jordan has been unimpressive so far while Pretorius has impressed in his short stint so far in the competition.

“Requesting CSK to please pay Dwaine Pretorius. He did well in all the matches that he played, still he got dropped. He is a slow medium-pacer but is very effective. Till now, he has looked 10-15 times more effective than Chris Jordan. Jordan’s IPL numbers are very poor, so why not just let him go,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

Pretorius claimed four wickets in two matches at an economy rate of 7.63 before being dropped from the playing XI. Jordan, by contrast, has only two wickets to his name from four games at a much higher economy of 10.52.
