“I Would Like To Announce My Retirement” – Jimmy Neesham After Escaping An Injury In RR Nets

Jimmy Neesham

Ace Rajasthan Royals (RR) all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is known for his hilarious takes on social media platforms. The Kiwi all-rounder once again startled his followers with an Instagram story on Saturday.

Neesham recently took to his official Instagram handle and announced his retirement from bowling to his teammate Riyan Parag in the net sessions. He also shared a short video in which he could be seen bowling to Riyan Parag in the nets.

The young Assam batter hit it with brutal force straight towards the Kiwi cricketer, due to which he lost control and fell. Jimmy Neesham escaped a nasty injury by a whisker.

Incidentally, Jimmy Neesham is yet to play a match this season for the Rajasthan Royals. Riyan Parag has been a regular in the middle order, performing the finisher role for the franchise so far in IPL 2022. However, the youngster has failed to live up to the expectations.

Devdutt Padikkal will be the highest run-scorer for Rajasthan Royals – Akash Chopra

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra believes young Indian batter Devdutt Padikkal will emerge as the franchise’s highest run-getter in IPL 2022.

Rajasthan boast the likes of Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer and Rassie van der Dussen, the ex batter-turned-commentator thinks India and Karnataka left-hander Padikkal will rise to the top of the runs chart for the tournament.

“Devdutt Padikkal will be the highest run-scorer for RR this season. I see him opening alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal. Although this is an Achilles heel as Buttler will bat down the order but I still feel Padikkal will be the highest run-scorer,” Chopra said on his Youtube channel.
