Here we look at the 5 Players To Watch Out For
- Quinton de Kock

De Kock has a great record in One-day internationals against England with 972 runs from 17 matches ( 17 innings) with 3 centuries and 4 half-centuries to his name including the best score of 138. He would be looking to provide a flying start to South Africa along with Temba Bavuma which would keep the England bowlers guessing.
His role is to showcase his attacking abilities in the first 10 overs that would create enough pressure on the England bowlers and ensure that South Africa returns to winning ways after a shocking loss to the Netherlands.
- Dawid Malan
Dawid Malan is an attacking batter that can put enough pressure on the bowlers in the first 10 overs. He played decently in the previous match against Afghanistan with 36 runs but was not able to convert into a big score.
Malan has a great record in One-day internationals against South Africa with 189 runs from 3 matches ( 3 innings) with the best score of 118. With the pitch at Mumbai promising to be a belter of pitch, he would be hoping to provide attacking shots along with Bairstow that would allow the England batters to score runs easily.
The stylish Dawid Malan would look to get things together and make sure that England put enough pressure on the South African bowlers.
- Heinrich Klassen
The right-handed explosive batter Heinrich Klassen got a start but was not able to convert it into a big score against the Netherlands. He can put pressure on the bowlers right from the word go and make sure that South Africa posts a big total.
Klassen comes to play in the batting order usually lower down the order and keeps the momentum going if South African openers or middle order provide base. He has a decent record against England in the ODI format with 182 runs from 6 matches (5 innings) including 1 fifty.
The dashing batter would be hoping that the openers can provide a flying start so that Klassen can build upon it and help South Africa put enough pressure on England’s bowlers.
- Jos Buttler
Jos Buttler was dismissed cheaply against Afghanistan with a lovely delivery by Naveen UL Haq. He would play a key role for England in the middle order that would create enough pressure on the bowlers if the batters could provide an attacking start.
He has a brilliant record against South Africa in One-day internationals with 540 runs from 16 matches (14 innings) with 3 centuries and 2 half-centuries to his name including the best score of 131.
Buttler would be a major threat as the pitch at Mumbai promises to be a belter of pitch that would suit the England batters.
- Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada had a decent outing in the previous match against Netherlands. He looked threatening in the initial overs getting wickets of Vikramjit Singh and de Leede that put the Dutch under pressure.
He was taken to the cleaners in death-overs by Edwards, Van der Merwe, and Aryan Dutt who destroyed his figures. Rabada will play a key role in helping South Africa pick early wickets which would make life tough for England’s batters.
He has a decent record against England in ODIS with 9 wickets from 3 matches at an economy of 5.16 runs per over with best figures of 4/39. Rabada would play a key role in picking early wickets to put pressure on the power-packed England batting lineup.
