Madame Tussauds Singapore, a renowned wax museum, introduced a wax figure of the veteran Indian cricketer Virat Kohli during the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Kohli, who started his international career in 2008, is recognized as one of India’s finest cricketers. The former Indian captain is celebrated for his extraordinary batting and exceptional leadership abilities.
Kohli’s wax statue was attired in an official Team India cricket uniform, which he personally donated. This lifelike figure is on display in the Sports Zone, alongside statues of sports legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Yao Ming, and Sachin Tendulkar.
“Thanks to Madame Tussauds for choosing me for this lifetime experience,” said Kohli.

Kohli conveyed his appreciation to the wax museum for selecting him for this extraordinary honor. Crafted by a group of skilled artists, this one-of-a-kind statue will offer everyone a remarkable chance to closely encounter India’s sports legend.
“I sincerely appreciate the efforts and incredible work undergone in making my figure. Thanks to Madame Tussauds for choosing me for this lifetime experience. I am grateful to my fans for their love and support,” said the cricketer.
In the meantime, Mahmood Gaznavi, President of the Singapore Cricket Association, expressed their great satisfaction in having the wax figure of a cricket legend in Singapore.
“We are thrilled to be part of a modern-day great having his launch in Singapore. Virat Kohli is a symbol of strength, character and skill all rolled into one,” said Gaznavi.
