The Australian cricket team will take on England in Match 36 of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 on November 4 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. They have made a great comeback in the tournament after losing the first two matches. The Pat Cummins-led team will look to strengthen their position in the knockout race.

Australia is third on the table with four wins from six matches and an NRR of 0.970. They defeated New Zealand in a thrilling encounter at Dharamsala in the last game. On the other hand, England has been absolutely disappointing in the tournament so far. They have lost five out of the six matches played. Their only win came against Afghanistan in Dharamsala. England will be hoping to make a comeback in the upcoming match.

Smith has scored 129 runs against him at a strike rate of 79.6. It will be interesting to see if Rashid will be able to repeat his performance. Smith hasn’t been in good form in the tournament, scoring 161 runs at an average of 26.83. Meanwhile, Adil Rashid has taken eight wickets in six matches.


Moeen Ali vs Adam Zampa

Adam Zampa has a great record against Moeen Ali in One-Day Internationals. In five matches, he has dismissed the England batter thrice, scoring 21 runs at a strike rate of 77.8. Heading into the upcoming game, Zampa will be confident bowling against Moeen Ali. The Aussie spinner has taken 16 wickets in six matches so far and is the second-leading run-scorer. Meanwhile, Moeen Ali has scored just 41 runs in three matches so far in the World Cup.


David Warner vs Chris Woakes

Australian opener David Warner has made a fantastic comeback in the ICC ODI World Cup. He was struggling to make an impact off late but has turned things around brilliantly. In six matches, David Warner has scored 413 runs at an average of 68.83, including two centuries and a fifty. He will be facing Chris Woakes in the upcoming game. Woakes has dismissed Warner four times, conceding 112 runs at a strike rate of 70. So far in the tournament, Woakes has taken four wickets in five matches.
