The unexpected appearance of ‘Tiger Shoaib’ surprises Rohit Sharma during his visit to Pune

Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, made an unexpected visit to the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium during the Bangladesh team’s practice session today, much to the delight of fans.

Despite expectations that Rohit might take a day off, he showed up at the venue in his striking blue Lamborghini, taking everyone by surprise. As the Bangladeshi players were going through their training, Rohit’s arrival caused a buzz among the fans, who gathered around the cricketing sensation.

What stood out was Rohit’s heartwarming interaction with Shoaib Ali, the well-known superfan from Bangladesh affectionately referred to as ‘Tiger Shoaib.’ Rohit, while rolling down his car window, greeted Shoaib in a friendly manner.

“Arey tu yaha agaya (Hey, you’re here!),” Rohit surprisingly asked Shoaib.

Shoaib, overwhelmed by the gesture, shared, “I was waiting along with some other Bangladeshi fans outside the main gate of the stadium as the team was training inside the ground. Suddenly I spotted a blue car with Rohit Sharma in the driving seat.”

”I shouted his name. The next moment, Rohit stopped his car and spoke to me.This is why he is a big player, he is a very down-to-earth person,” With tears in his eyes, Shoaib said, as reported by The Daily Star.

Bangladesh is facing difficulties in the major tournament. After a strong start with a victory over Afghanistan in their World Cup debut, the Tigers faced defeats against England, New Zealand, and India in their next three matches.

Presently, they hold the seventh position in the ten-team points table. Their upcoming match will be against South Africa in Mumbai on October 24.
