Excitement is mounting for the forthcoming 2023 ODI World Cup, set to commence on October 5. Fans eagerly anticipate thrilling showdowns between the world’s top cricket players. One highly anticipated match is the India-Pakistan clash at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14.

Yet, all tickets for the game have sold out, prompting fans to turn to the secondary market. In a surprising turn of events, a viral image circulated on social media, showcasing tickets for the game being resold at an astonishing INR 57 lakhs.

A screenshot of this situation has been making the rounds on the internet, showing a worldwide online sports ticket platform offering the tickets at an exorbitant price.

“What is happening? World Cup tickets for India vs. Pakistan range from 65,000 to 4.5 lakh “per ticket” on the Viagogo website! Daylight robbery from these corporations!,” commented a user.

“Tickets are available on Viagogo for the #INDvPAK World Cup match. Look at the prices,” wrote another user.

“Yesterday I saw a ticket for 15 lakh, and now it’s either sold out or else removed from the Viagogo app,” commented another user.

On October 14, India is scheduled to face Pakistan in Ahmedabad during the 2023 ODI World Cup

Fascinatingly, tickets for various India matches at different locations are also demanding extravagant prices in the secondary market. To illustrate, tickets for the India vs Australia game on Viagogo begin at a remarkable Rs 41,000 and can escalate to more than Rs 3 lakh. Similarly, tickets for the India vs England match are available at a steep price of Rs. 2.3 lakh.

For the upcoming match against Pakistan at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14, ticket prices span from INR 57,198 to a staggering INR 57.15 lakhs.
