ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Warm-up Matches 2023: Match Details, Squads, Live Streaming – All You Need To Know

Following a four-year gap, the ICC Cricket World Cup is making a comeback in October 2023, hosted by India from October 5 to November 19. England, the defending champions, claimed victory in a historic final against New Zealand. Prior to the main event featuring 10 teams, the ICC has organized 10 warm-up matches, commencing on September 29 with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka facing off in the first game.

The Indian cricket team is scheduled to play against the reigning world champions, England, on September 30 and will face the Netherlands on October 3. Similar to past major tournaments, these warm-up matches will be 50-over games but won’t have official ODI status. All participating teams can utilize their complete 15-player squads during these matches.

The Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, and the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad have been chosen as the venues for these warm-up games.

The 2023 World Cup is set to commence on October 5, with the defending champions, England, facing New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The tournament will conclude with the grand final at the same venue on November 19.

Match 2 – On September 29, South Africa vs Afghanistan at 2:00 pm.

Match 3 – On September 29, New Zealand vs Pakistan at 2:00 pm.
