Amidst the crowd, even an elderly Pakistan fan was spotted making his way into the stadium. Fans had already taken their seats, and the Indian tri-colour was adorning the stands even before the toss. A special musical show featuring notable figures like Shankar Mahadevan was organized as a prelude to the highly-anticipated India vs. Pakistan match, the eighth chapter in their historic 50-over World Cup rivalry.

The excitement and ticket demand for this marquee event had reached unprecedented levels. Virat Kohli, through a social media post, clarified that he wasn’t the source for obtaining tickets.
