India managed to put up a strong score of 326/6 in their 50 overs. After beating South Africa, the Indian team celebrated Virat Kohli’s birthday and Ravindra Jadeja’s five-wicket achievement.

However, after his outstanding performance against the in-form South African team, the 35-year-old once again drew fans’ attention as he was spotted traveling to Bangalore in economy class. This moment has gained widespread attention on social media.

India faces the Netherlands in their final group stage match

Turning to the India-South Africa match, it was Virat Kohli who delivered a stunning performance at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. When India batted first, Kohli took the spotlight by scoring an unbeaten 101 runs from 121 deliveries.

He formed a strong partnership with Shreyas Iyer, helping the team post a substantial score on the scoreboard. Subsequently, Ravindra Jadeja’s five-wicket haul led to South Africa being dismissed for a meager 83 runs, resulting in India’s commanding 243-run victory.

Following their emphatic victory against South Africa, the Indian team maintained their top position in the ODI World Cup 2023 table. The Men in Blue have accumulated 16 points from eight matches and are comfortably leading the tournament as the only undefeated team, having won all eight games.

After their triumph against South Africa, India will be facing the Netherlands in their last group stage match. Both teams will compete in the 45th match of the tournament on Sunday, November 12, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
