The official anthem ‘Dil Jashn Bole’ was created by Pritam and will be released on September 20, Wednesday. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is about to start on October 5 with the opening match between England and New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the tournament’s official theme song, and the wait will soon be over. On Wednesday, September 20, the ICC (International Cricket Council) is set to release the World Cup’s official anthem.
Titled ‘Dil Jashn Bole,’ the song has been composed by the renowned music director Pritam Chakraborty and will feature Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. There are also reports suggesting that Indian wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife and dancer Dhanashree Verma might make an appearance in the music video.

India will take on Australia in their final series before the World Cup
Starting on September 22, India’s final World Cup preparations will commence with a three-match ODI series against Australia at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. Notably, key players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Kuldeep Yadav will be rested for the first two matches. KL Rahul will lead the team in Rohit’s absence for these initial games.
Additionally, experienced off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has returned to the ODI squad after a 21-month absence to replace the injured Axar Patel. If Axar doesn’t recover in time, Ashwin might also find a place in the World Cup squad.
