The championship marked the final World Cup appearance for the legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar. He has scored 1,030 runs in 26 appearances, including two centuries and six half-centuries. He is second on the list of the most runs scored for India at ODI World Cups. The right-hander has also led India at the 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cups.
