ICC T20 World Cup 2021: “Abusing Players And Family Is Such A Shame” – Mohammad Amir Backs India After Second Consecutive Defeats

Mohammad Amir-Harbhajan Singh On India vs Pakistan

Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir backs Virat Kohli and his men to bounce back and qualify for the semifinals of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2021. India has lost both games they have played up till now against Pakistan and New Zealand. However, the Men in blue still have a chance to qualify for the semifinals if they win their remaining fixtures.

There’s a lot of hate and criticism Virat Kohli and team India is facing after the poor performance of the players however, the Former Pakistan left-arm pacer came in support of the Men in Blue and he tweeted.

“I still believe India is a best team its just a matter of having good time or bad time but abusing player’s and their family is such a shame don’t forget end of the day it’s just a game of cricket.”

Toss is a very crucial point of the game. Unfortunately, Virat Kohli has not had luck yet at the toss. Teams chasing have the upper hand looking at the pitch turn upside down, and the due coming into the picture. Ground conditions support the team batting second, and India was put in to bat first for the two matches that they have played so far at the Dubai International Stadium.

“I don’t think we were brave enough with bat or ball” – India captain Virat Kohli

After India’s poor performance with the bat and the ball against the blackcaps, skipper Virat Kohli reflected on the team’s performance and said :

“Quite bizarre. I don’t think we were brave enough with bat or ball. We didn’t have much to defend but we weren’t brave when we walked onto the field. Whenever we looked to take the game on, we lost a wicket. That happens in T20 cricket when some hesitation set in.”

Virat Kohli and his men will next face Mohammad Nabi’s Afghanistan on the 3rd of November (Wednesday) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. It’s a must-win game for India, will be interesting to see how the team performs looking at the pressure.
