Bangladesh are currently playing England in a must-win clash in Abu Dhabi. They lost their first game against Sri Lanka heading into this contest. The England bowlers maintained a good line and length to restrict the opposition batsmen from setting up a big score. At last, the Tigers scored a below-par 124/9.

The England bowlers especially their spinners made the ball talk as it turned and gripped from the surface. Moeen Ali picked up a couple of wickets from his first two overs. Liam Livingstone also picked up two wickets and Tymal Mills picked up three.

The Bangladesh batsmen played some ordinary shots to get themselves dismissed. The run-out of Afif Hossain kind of summed up the day with the bat for the Tigers.

“We have been good at chasing, the wicket looks good, played here during the IPL. We need to adapt, no team changes for us. The scars of past motivate you for the future. The focus today is on what we can do” said England skipper Eoin Morgan at the toss. His side bowled out West Indies for just 55 runs in their first game and won the match in a canter in the end.

Meanwhile, this is how Twitter reacted to Bangladesh’s batting collapse against England.

“I think we bowled nicely there, wickets in the powerplay were crucial. We squeezed them in the middle overs as well. I think I didn’t feel too good in the warm up games, but I’m feeling better the more I play. The wicket is a bit two paced, like you saw in the IPL. Need to hit the deck hard, to get that variable bounce. It was a great catch from Adil. That (Shakib) was a big wicket for us, such catches change the game” said Chris Woakes in the mid-innings break.

England won the game comprehensively in the end with Jason Roy scoring 61 from 38 balls on his 50th T20I international for England. Jos Buttler scored a run-a-ball 18 and Dawid Malan scored 28 to give his team in the 15th over.
