Ravindra Jadeja picked up a Man of the Match performance for his spell of 3/15 against Scotland. It was his best figures in T20I cricket that helped India achieve another big win in the tournament. With two back-to-back big wins, India are still in the race for the semifinals. India’s net run-rate is now the best in their group and if Afghanistan manages to beat New Zealand in their last game, it will mean that India can qualify for the semifinals by beating Namibia in their final game.
The southpaw attended the post-match presser after India’s win. One of the journalists asked a question to Ravindra Jadeja to which he had a very funny response.
“Everyone’s saying we will have a chance if Afghanistan will beat New Zealand. What will you do next if Afghanistan doesn’t beat New Zealand?” asked the journalist to Jadeja.
“Bag Pack Karenge, Ghar Jayenge Aur Kya” was Jadeja’s response in return.

Ravindra Jadeja’s 3-for give India an easy victory
India chased down the target of 85 in 6.3 overs to boost their net run rate. They have a few equations to get over at the start of the chase. By chasing the score inside seven overs, India have now bettered their net run-rate by a big margin. In fact, their net run-rate of +1.619 is the best in their group.

Ravindra Jadeja also spoke about his match-winning performance after the game in the post-match presentation.
“I was enjoying bowling on this track today. The odd ball was turning, I was enjoying very much. The first one was a special one, whenever you get a batsman out with a turning ball, that’s always special. We were looking to play good brand of cricket. Everybody knows that we had to win with a big margin for us to up our net run-rate, we were looking to play our best game and give our 100% on the field. Everybody’s happy, one more game to go, hopefully we play like this. If we play like this, nobody can beat us. In T20 format, we have to play like this” said Jadeja.
India play Namibia on November 8 in Dubai, a day after Afghanistan plays New Zealand in Abu Dhabi.
