Scotland named a strong 15-member squad for the upcoming marquee T20 World Cup 2024 to be played in the West Indies and USA beginning from 2nd June onwards. The experienced Richie Berrington would lead the side. They will play a tri-series with Netherlands and Ireland as a part of the preparation for the mega event starting from 18th May onwards.
Micheal Jones makes a comeback into the squad after missing from an injury. Richie Berrington, Oli Haris, George Munsey, Matthew Cross, Brandon McMullen comprise of batters. Scotland has a quality pace bowling attack comprising Safyaan Sharif, and Chris Sole. Brad Wheal also makes a comeback after recovering from an injury. Chris Greaves, Micheal Leask, and Mark Wyatt comprise spin bowling options.

Scotland’s Schedule Of World Cup 2024
Scotland has been clubbed in a tough group with Australia, Oman, England, and Namibia in Group B. Scotland would start their tournament against England at Kennington Oval, Barbados. Their next match will see them take Namibia on 6th June at North Sound, Antigua.
Richard Berrington and Co will face Oman in their 3rd group match on 9th June at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua. Scotland will face Australia in their final group match on 15th June at Darren Sammy Stadium, St Lucia.
Scotland finished at the top of the ICC Europe qualifiers played between 20th-28th July 2023. They defeated Germany in their first match by 72 runs via the DLS method.
They held their nerves to defeat Jersey by 14 runs. Scotland thrashed Italy by 155 runs, and defeated Austria by a massive 166-run gap. They continued their winning run defeating Denmark by 33 runs.
Scotland defeated Ireland by 8 runs in a high-scoring thriller to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Scotland proved their worth by stunning two-time champions West Indies in the 2022 edition qualifying round. Despite that performance, they could not qualify for the Super 12 stage losing to Ireland and Zimbabwe in the next two matches to be knocked out of the tournament.
