The pitch at Holkar Stadium, Indore seems to be a great batting pitch which makes life tough for the bowlers. The bowlers need to depend upon their variations to put pressure on the batters and should focus on taking wickets in middle overs stopping the run flow.
Here we look at the 3 Probable Leading Wicket Takers in 2nd ODI Between India and Australia
- Mohammed Shami
The Indian pace spearhead Mohammed Shami had a brilliant outing in the first game of the ODI series at Mohali. He got the early breakthrough by dismissing Mitchell Marsh. With the partnership between Smith and Labuschange going on, Shami was bought into the attack getting rid of Smith.
He bowled brilliantly in the death overs dismissing Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Short, and Sean Abbott to finish with figures of 5 for 51 in 10 overs. For his match-winning figures, Shami was named the player of the match award.
With no Jasprit Bumrah in the bowling lineup, the onus will be on him to provide the goods and pick initial wickets.
- Adam Zampa
Australia’s leg spinner Adam Zampa was the pick of bowlers for Australia in the first ODI. He went for 57 runs in his 10 overs and grabbed 2 wickets including well set Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Zampa bowled the death overs keeping KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav under check with disciplined lines and lengths. He would be looking to continue his superb form in the 2nd One-day international at Indore which is known for a superb batting pitch. The leg spinner would be eager to pick wickets and stem the flow of runs if the Indian batters are well set.
- Ravindra Jadeja

He did not allow Cameron Green and Marnus Labuschagne to hit boundaries. It was a good effort by Jadeja ending with figures of 1 for 51 in 10 overs. He will be eager to do the job for Team India in the 2nd ODI at Indore.
Jadeja kept the Australian batters under check and did not allow them to hit big shots not allowing them to post big total.
