IND vs AUS: [WATCH] KL Rahul Slams 94m Six Out Of The Ground During The Second ODI

Team India’s stand-in skipper KL Rahul continued his emphatic form in the second ODI against Australia on Sunday, September 24 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. He slammed a monstrous six off Cameron Green during the innings, which went out of the Holkar Stadium.

KL Rahul walked out to bat at number four, after Shreyas Iyer’s dismissal. The stage was set for the wicket-keeper batter after Iyer and Gill’s 200-run stand. Rahul got going slamming Adam Zampa for a six over long-on. He bettered it up with a 94m six against Cameron Green.

The spectacular hit came during the thirty-fifth over of the Indian innings. Cameron Green bowled a length delivery to KL Rahul, who got into a good position and smacked the ball over deep mid-wicket for a huge six. The ball travelled all the way and sailed over the roof of the stadium, leaving the fans amazed.

Team India finished with 399 runs in 50 overs, on the back of an outstanding performance from the batting unit. Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill slammed centuries to lay a strong platform for India. Meanwhile, the likes of KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav capitalised on the start.

KL Rahul’s brilliant comeback to Team India

KL Rahul has been in stunning form for Team India since his comeback after injury. He was out of the team for several months due to a hamstring injury. The right-handed batter has made a roaring comeback following his recovery. He has scored 505 runs in 12 matches averaging 72.14 this year in ODIs, including a century and four fifties.

Rahul slammed consecutive fifties in the ongoing ODI series against Australia. He stayed unbeaten in the first match, scoring 58 runs off 63 deliveries. Meanwhile, he scored 52 runs off just 38 deliveries with three boundaries and as many sixes to power India to a huge total in the second game.
