Team India defeated Australia comfortably by 99 runs (317 target due to rain) in the second ODI at Indore. The Indian batting unit has been in tremendous form, especially Shubman Gill. Talking about the win in the second ODI and his individual performance, Shubman Gill said at the post-match presentation,

“It feels good. Satisfied as a team, we have the momentum at the right time. It depends on the situation, there’s definitely some confidence. I can cover up later, and that confidence is because I am scoring at the moment. With the way KL and Surya played, they kept the momentum going.”

“I think the six against Green down the ground, it was really special for me,” added Shubman Gill.

Team India has an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series. The final ODI will take place on Wednesday, September 27 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association in Rajkot.
