Starting the fourth day on 196 for 2, Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav looked impressive playing attacking shots before Gill was run out in a mix-up. Jaiswal came to the bat after retiring yesterday. Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan showed an attacking display of batting putting enough pressure on England’s bowlers. Jaiswal completed his 2nd double century along with Sarfaraz Khan reaching fifty. The Indian team declared their innings with a score of 430 for 4 with a massive lead of 556.

A throw by Mohammed Siraj and a grab by Dhruv Jurel ended the innings for Ben Duckett. Bumrah dismissed Zak Crawley with a lovely delivery as India put enough pressure on England batters. After the tea break, Ravindra Jadeja grabbed the initial wicket of Ollie Pope with a stunning catch by Rohit Sharma at the slips.

Jadeja took the wicket of Bairstow that left England in deep trouble. India kept picking wickets at regular intervals. Tom Hartley and Ben Foakes provided some resistance before Jadeja got rid of Foakes with a good catch by Jurel. Jadeja ended the innings getting rid of Mark Wood. It was a dominating performance by the Indian team as they registered 434 runs victory.

R Ashwin came to bowl after coming back from a family emergency. He grabbed the wicket of Hartley. Ravindra Jadeja was named the player of the match for his 112 in the first innings and taking 7 wickets including 5 wicket haul in 2nd innings.
