Shreyas Iyer has become the third Indian batsman to score a century and a fifty in the same Test match courtesy of his 65 on day 4. His knock has kept India in the game after they were tottering at 51/5 within the first hour of the day’s play.

Iyer’s score of 170 in this Test match has taken him to third place in the list of cricketers with the most runs in his debut Test match. Shikhar Dhawan with 187 tops the list closely followed by Rohit Sharma on 177.

Meanwhile, Kyle Jamieson has now taken the most wickets against India in the first four Tests. He has taken 22 wickets against India. He also became the quickest Kiwi pacer to get to 50 Test wickets in just his ninth Test match.
