India A Squad announced for South Africa A series; Full Details Here

The All India Senior Selection Committee has announced the schedule and the squads for the upcoming series of India A against South Africa A. The series is all set to start on August 29 and takes place till 6th September. All the five games will be played at the Sports Hub, Trivandrum.

Manish Pandey will lead the side for the first three games that include a bunch of talented youngsters. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill who showed their class in the Carribean series cemented their spots.

The reigns for the fourth and the final ODI will be taken over by Shreyas Iyer. All the talents have been distributed equally while few were fortunate enough to feature in all five ODI squads. The squad composition looks so balanced as a lot of domestic stars have been rewarded for their efforts.

The schedule :

29th August: 1st ODI

31st August: 2nd ODI

02nd September: 3rd ODI

04th September: 4th ODI

06th September: 5th ODI

It is to be noted that there is only an interval of a single day between the games.

The squad also included Yuzhvendra Chahal and Vijay Shankar. While Chahal just returned home after the limited over series against the West Indies, Vijay will be back after an injury sustained in the World Cup.
