The All India Senior Selection Committee have picked the following players for India ‘Blue’ and India ‘Red’ teams for Prof D B Deodhar Trophy 2017 to play against Tamil Nadu, the winners of Paytm Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017.
Rohit Sharma will be leading India “Blue” while Parthiv Patel will lead India “Red” in Deodhar Trophy 2017.
The tournament will be held in Vizag from March 25-29, 2017.
Rohit Sharma has been out of international cricket due to an injury sustained in the ODI match against New Zealand in October 2016.
Rohit played two matches for Mumbai in the recently-concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored 16 & 4 runs in his two innings.
This tournament will be a great chance for the cricketers to prove themselves ahead of the team selection for Champions Trophy 2017.
