Team India bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja were seen imitating each other’s bowling actions at the practice session on Wednesday. Both the bowlers have been included in all three squads for the upcoming Australia series. The series starts with the first ODI on Friday.

Meanwhile, both Bumrah and Jadeja have been putting the hard yards in practice to be ready for the first game. To boost Bumrah’s confidence, he ended with 27 wickets in IPL 2020 and looks to be in prime form.

In a video posted by BCCI’s official Twitter handle, Bumrah and Jadeja can be seen imitating each other’s bowling actions. Also joining them is Prithvi Shaw who imitated the actions of Anil Kumble, Muttiah Muralitharan and Bumrah himself. All three aced each other’s bowling actions match to match.

Meanwhile, Team India has selected a five-man pace attack for the Test series against Australia. Bumrah will be leading the pace bowling attack in the absence of senior pacer Ishant Sharma. Ishant & Rohit Sharma have been ruled out of the series due to injury.

Team India have a good variety in their spin department as well. Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav lead the spin department. They have Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja in the limited-overs series.

Meanwhile, former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar has named Mohammed Shami as the most potent threat for the Australian batters. He said that Shami has a deceptively quick bouncer and that if not in proper position, his bouncer is difficult to negotiate.

“Mohammed Shami in particular has a fabulous bouncer. If he gets it right on target, then you can be pretty certain that not too many batsmen will be able to negotiate him,” Gavaskar told Sportstar.

These words from Gavaskar came after Steve Smith challenged the Indian bowlers to bowl bouncers at him saying that dealing with them will not be a problem for the right-hander.
