With the five-match series tied at 1-1, all cricket fans await a thriller of a finish when India and England lock horns in the fifth and final match of the series on March 20 (Saturday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The encounter will be played behind closed doors due to the growing number of coronavirus cases in the country.

The newcomers have spearheaded the comebacks for India in the series – Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav proving why they stand quite high among a plethora of Indian batting riches, several of whom are part of the current squad. And despite good forms shown by Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, India have had to dig deep into their batting mainly because of their top-order batsmen. India will look to solve their top-order miseries in the final game before they join their franchisees for IPL 2021.

Speaking of the bowling front, Hardik Pandya has been a real value addition to the side. His slower bouncers have proved to be handy against the English batters. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also done a decent job on his return, Shardul Thakur’s tendency to leak runs will keep the management on their toes. Virat Kohli & Co might be tempted to use T Natarajan in the final game after he joined the squad in Ahmedabad ahead of the fourth game.

On the other hand, Eoin Morgan and Ben Stokes likened the must-win weekend clash as the closest thing in terms of preparation for a World Cup final. Dawid Malan’s lean patch with the bat will keep the visitors on their toes and they might bring in Sam Billings in the middle-order. Otherwise, the bowling of Mark Wood and Jofra Archer have looked solid along with Adil Rashid and Eoin Morgan is likely to stick to it.

Match Prediction – Who will win the match?

Every time India have trailed in the series they have managed to bounce back and level the series. Virat Kohli & Co also broke the myth of teams winning the match if they win the toss. The Men in Blues managed to defend their total in the fourth tie of the series to level terms.
