As we slowly sink in the emphatic victory in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the focus shift to the upcoming India tour of England. It will be India’s first assignment in home conditions since the coronavirus pandemic broke out last year.
The tour consists of four Test matches as a part of the ICC World Test Championship, five Twenty20 Internationals, and three ODIs. The series will kick off with the Tests at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from February 5. The red-ball format holds great importance as both sides will hope to finish in the top two spots of the Test Championship.

India vs England 2021 Venues:
The Test matches will take place in Chennai and Ahmedabad. The first two matches will take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium while the last two will be held at the newly created Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. The third Test will be a pink-ball affair.

The Test series will be followed by a five-match T20I rubber, which will take place at the Sardar Patel Stadium. The three-match ODI series will be played at the MCA Stadium in Pune. All the matches will take place behind closed doors.
