Shardul Thakur gets married on 27 Feb

Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur gets married to Mittali Parulkar in a grand wedding on 27 February 2023.  Right before the wedding traditional ceremonies like Sangeet, Haldi, and a modern-themed pool party took place.

Indian current captain Rohit Sharma, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer, Dhanshree Verma, KKR team management Abhishek Nayar, and Siddesh Lad came to the wedding. Shardul Thakur took photos with Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, and others.

Shreyas Iyer and Rohit Sharma flew from Karjat to Shardul Thakur’s wedding. Shardul and Mittali got engaged in November 2021. A total of 150 to 200 guests arrived as two Mumbai cricketers entertained the guest with Bollywood songs.

Shardul joined the list of Indian cricketers to get married. After the marriage, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer flew to Indore for the preparations of the 3rd Test against Australia to be played in Indore on 1 March 2023. He became the third Indian cricketer after KL Rahul and Axar Patel to get married recently.

Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer were clicked with ethnic attire. Shreyas Iyer opted for a silver kurta while Rohit Sharma looked stylish in blue color traditional attire. The duo danced their hearts out in the sangeet ceremony.

Shardul Thakur made the evening more colourful dancing to the Jhingaat tune. Shardul Thakur looked at ease with Marathi songs and floored his family and friends with his dancing steps.

Shardul and Mittali were supposed to get married after the T20 World Cup in October last year. Due to some reasons, the marriage was postponed, and the wedding took place on 27 February 2023.

Shardul Thakur’s wife Mittali is a businesswoman and runs a start-up called All Bakes in Thane, near Mumbai. Thakur and Mittali got engaged in a private ceremony in Mumbai on 29 November 2021.

Shardul Thakur’s busy schedule

Shardul Thakur finally got a date to marry Mittali. He will be busy in the One-day international series against Australia in March, followed by Indian Premier League 2023 starting on 31 March.

Thakur will be a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad in the IPL 2023 who have been traded from Delhi Capitals.
