India and New Zealand face-off in a three-match T20I with the first game to be played in Jaipur on November 17. AS per reports in PTI, the toss is not going to play a big role in the series with dew setting in very early in the game. Toss played a huge role in the outcome of games in the T20 World Cup.
Teams chasing found it easier to win in the games in all three venues in UAE and more so in Dubai. New Zealand won the semi-final chasing while the Aussies cantered to their chase in the final, leaving the team batting first a lot to do.
Meanwhile, winter has already set in Jaipur and the officials of the Sawai Man Singh stadium told PTI that dew is expected to set in as early as 7 pm which is when the match starts.
“Here in Jaipur, there could be dew in the first innings itself going by the last two days which minimises the toss advantage to a certain extent. Since it is a T20, one has to expect lots of runs from this surface,” said an official.
“We will use the anti-dew spray on match day but we have all seen its effect is very limited” he further added.

Meanwhile, the BCCI is expected to allow the fans to come into the stadium for the T20Is. A packed crowd of 25000 is expected to be present to watch the match. It will be a great moment for the fans as cricket is back in India after a long time.
Around 8,000 tickets were sold in the first three hours after they were put up for sale online last week, said RCA secretary Mahendra Verma.
