The Indian side hasn”t won a single match in the longest format of the game since a  decade and it would be one of the best opportunities for the side to win it against a depleted Australian side who aren”t able to create an impact in the absence of their stars Warner and Smith.

Reports suggest that the Indian batting coach Sanjay Bangar is at Sydney to train Indian test specialists. It is to be noted that Shaw, Vihari, Parthiv, Vijay and Rahane are currently a part of India “A” side for the unofficial tests against New Zealand A. As there is a five-day break for the second game, the players are currently being trained under his supervision.
