Indonesia Women Inflict A Whitewash; Beat Singapore Women By 9 Wickets in 6th T20I

The Singapore women were bowled out to a low total in the sixth and final T20I against Indonesia played at Udyana Cricket Ground, Bali on 9 November 2022.

Indonesia captain Sariani won the toss and decided to field first. Indonesian bowlers kept picking wickets at regular intervals putting enough pressure on Singapore batters. Dhavina top scored for Singapore women with 5 runs off 14 balls while Sahana Iyer remained not out on 3 off 38 balls.

Kamal Raja, Riyaa Bhasin, Shafina Mahesh, Vinu Kumar, CH Aberyante, TS Prasad, Damini Ramesh, and D Prakas did not open their accounts. It was a dominating bowling performance by Indonesian bowlers as they skittled out Singapore for just 23 runs in 16.5 overs.

Chasing down 24 runs to win, Indonesia chased down the target in 4.3 overs. Anggreani finished with an unbeaten 14 off 16 balls while Suwandewi remained not out on 7. Indonesia won the match by 9 wickets with 93 balls to spare. For her figures of 2 for 3 in 4 overs, Ni Made Putri Suwandewi was awarded the player of the match award.

It was a dominating performance by Indonesian women as they outplayed Singapore women winning all six matches. Indonesian women dominated their opponents winning matches easily while Singapore women did not cope.

Indonesian women began the series with 96 runs in the first T20I match played on 4th November. It was another dominating performance by Indonesian women as they register 121 runs in the second match played on November 5.

The third T20I match was another dominating performance by Indonesian women winning the match by 62 runs on November 6. Indonesia Women won the fourth T20I match with another impressive 87-run win on November 7.

Indonesia Women register 43 runs via the DLS method in the fifth T20I match played on 8th November. The sixth and final T20I match was another impressive performance by Indonesian women with a 9-wicket win on November 9, 2022.
