On a nice Sunday afternoon at Nagpur, Indian batsmen just cruised to milestones one after the another. Four of the top six Batsmen went on to make a ton which also included skipper Virat Kohliโs effortless fifth double ton.
Sri Lankan bowlers were not only hopeless, their souls were murdered in this huge run making effort by the Indians, there was a Leather hunt at the Jamtha stadium as India piled on the runs and Sri Lankan misery eventually declaring at a gigantic 610.
Indian captain Virat Kohli was the top scorer with a sumptuous 213 which makes him the only captain along with the great Brian Lara to have 5 double tons being a skipper.
