Deepak Chahar the young right arm pace bowler from Rajasthan was bought by Chennai Super Kings for INR 80 Lakhs. He has played a key role in helping CSK reaching the finals picking up early wickets and putting pressure on the opposition.

In the first 3 years, he did not enough chances to showcase his talent. In the last year’s edition, just played 5 matches and picked only 4 wickets for Kolkata Knight Riders.
