India Cements Limited, one of the leading cement manufacturers in India have confirmed their association with CSK in the upcoming IPL season. It is to be noted that India cement has been one of the primary sponsors of the team since its inception and sported the brand name in the yellow jersey.

Viswanathan appointed as the CEO, CSK cricket limited
The franchise also confirmed the appointment of K Viswanathan as it”s CEO. Fondly called “Kasi Sir”, he served as the secretary of TNCA. Passionate about cricket from his young days, he trained the cricket teams of India Cements for a long period of time for its corporate tournaments.
Speaking to the media Viswanathan mentioned, ” The quality of selection, the combination and the right balance is what helped create an outfit that consistently made it to the playoffs and this also helped build a core that stayed for eight straight years”. He also put forward the contribution of domestic players to the team.
The return of CSK to Chepauk is expected to be the most awaited moment in IPL 2018.The team last featured in IPL 2015 with Ranchi as its home. The franchise has already retained MS Dhoni, Raina and Jadeja and will have access to use two RTM cards.
