Social Media these days is the worst place to be if you are a recognized celebrity going through a bad phase. Cricket which is treated like religion in India, and it’s not a surprise that cricketers are treated like Gods and trolled like hell based on their performances on this platform.

When in form, things tend to be rosy. Fans, critics, media everyone praises you for anything but we all know that form doesn’t last forever. The problem arises when a player is going through a bad patch.

Fans are well known for short memory and few bad performances could mean the end of support start of endless trolling and emotional outbursts from these fans. This IPL has been no exception, In form players have been praised and few out of form have been brutally trolled.

1. Hardik Pandya

Continuous Losses and the dismal performance of Mumbai Indians has not escaped the attention of social media, fans and cricket lovers. Hardik has been one of the players who hasn’t performed at all in this season while being such a big name player.

In their previous match at Wankhede stadium, the Mumbai bowlers restricted the Sunrisers to 119 but failed to chase it. The fact that Pandya always tends to show off on the field but failed to deliver in this IPl have made him a troll material. Hardik Pandya’s score of  3 runs off 19 balls that have left people on social media angry and laughing.

Things like Pandya’s attitude, haircuts and tattoos all came under scrutiny as people trolled him endlessly.

2. Stuart Binny

Stuart Binny who is known as the evergreen target for Twitter trolls once again came under the radar of the online trolls after his poor performance against Chennai Super Kings.

Binny, who was playing his first match of the season for Rajasthan Royals was given the first over to bowl. Binny bowled a no-ball and conceded two fours. Binny was hammered for 33 runs in just 2 overs. While batting Binny only managed 10 runs.

Social media brutal as usual trolled him as “Lord Binny” with reference of Mayanti Langer as well.

3. Vinay Kumar

KKR bowler Vinay Kumar has been on target of troll police this IPL as his continuous run leaking became a headache for the fans.

In the match against CSK, Kumar had to bowl the last over with 17 runs to defend but Chennai won the match even before he could bowl six legal deliveries.

He conceded all the runs in just 4 balls as he bowled few no – balls as well which made him the highlight of social media trolls.

4. Sarfaraz Khan

RCB cricketer Sarfaraz Khan is another one of those cricketers which tend to make the perfect fun material for social media trolls.

Trolled Endlessly for his Fielding skills, he had to once again face the wrath of fuming RCB fans after he failed to perform and the team went onto lose quite a few matches.

Many fans and experts are making fun of Sarfraj and RCB team management for picking him over Chris Gayle. People are saying that RCB had a brain-fade when they retained “Golu” Sarfaraz Khan over the Universe boss Gayle.

5. Jaydev Unadkat

The young left arm seamer Jayedv Unadkat who was bought for for ₹11.5 crores in this year’s IPL auction is getting criticism and facing fire from all corners of social media.

After continuous poor performances in the competitions, he came under scrutiny as fans made fun of his super expensive price tag and being the most expensive Indian player in the auction.
