Sunil Narine once again proved his hitting skills as he smashed a half-century in the game against RCB.
He hit 50 off 19 deliveries that included 4 boundaries and five huge sixes. He is now the only player in IPL to score a half-century within 17 balls twice.
Chasing a target of 177, Sunil Narine opened the innings with Chris Lynn and started hitting the ball to every corner of the stadium since his arrival at the crease. Umesh Yadav dismissed him by his low full toss delivery and put curtains on his blitz.
Indian recent sensation Washington Sundar and Chris woakes recorded costly figures due to his incredible knock.
The audience has witnessed two blistering half-centuries in the second day of IPL-11, the fastest one by KL Rahul and the latter one by Narine.
However, the credit should be given to Gautam Gambhir for introducing Narine as an opener in the shorter format of the game and proving his mettle as a trustworthy all-rounder.
This is how Twitter reacted to his scintillating knock.
