Sunrisers Hyderabad wins another thriller against Rajasthan Royals by 11 runs at Jaipur. This is the third time Sunrisers have successfully defended a score in the last week and they are now placed first in the points table.
Opting to bat first, Williamson and Alex Hales played a gem of an innings. While the former got out after scoring a brisk 45, the skipper took the responsibility on his shoulders and smashed a quick fire 63 off 43 deliveries. They put up 151/7 by the end of 20 overs.
Chasing the target, RR looked positive until Samson got out. The middle order failed miserably and Rahane wasn”t able to win the game for his team.
Siddharth Kaul starred with the ball as he ended up with figures 4-0-23-2 and he was well supported by others. With six wins in eight games, sunrises are comfortably placed at the top with an NRR of 0.51
Twitter hailed the captaincy of Williamson and brutally trolled Royals for choking their innings.
This is where #SRH starts squeezing the opponent dry…asking rate already 9 rpo. Two each from Kaul and Rashid in the last 6. Kane has led the team so well. #RRvSRH #IPL

Another combative performance from @SunRisers, quality partnership @AlexHales1 & Kane on a tricky surface. Again the difference was our bowlers & our flight in the field! #OrangeArmy #SRH

Not Once, Not Twice but Thrice!!! The @SunRisers bowlers have been defending targets with ridiculous ease. When the fielding unit steps up to back and compliment the bowling front results tend to work your way. Brilliant!! #RRvSRH

If SRH batsmen face their own bowlers, they won't score even 50 runs.
By the way, it's a compliment to our bowlers.

This SRH bowling unit is inculcating some bad habits in their batsmen. Don't matter what you score, we got it 😉😄👏👏#VivoIPL

I have this feeling that final will be between SRH vs CSK. Best defenders vs Best chasers. This is the story of this IPL and if that happens it will be epic.
