Mumbai Indians won their second consecutive match as they knocked down Kolkata Knight Riders by 13 runs at Wankhede. Opting to bowl first, Kolkata Knight Riders couldn”t stem the run flow of the openers Suryakumar Yadav and Evin Lewis. Yadav scored yet another half-century as he became the highest run scorer among the Uncapped players in the Indian Premier League surpassing Manan Vohra.
Mumbai posted a competitive total of 181/4 thanks to Hardik”s blitz in the final overs. Kolkata was a bit messy in their chase as they lost Lynn and Gill very early. Robin Uthappa held the nerve and scored a scintillating half-century his first of the season. He and Rana put up 84 run partnership as they smashed bowlers to corners of the stadium. The middle order wasn”t able to capitalize on their starts as Andre Russell and Narine failed to assist skipper DK.
Hardik Pandya starred with the ball yet again as he registered figures of 2/19 in his full quota of 4 overs. Mumbai now won their fourth match and trying their best to make it to playoffs.
Twitter went crazy as Mumbai shocked the Knights and this is how the tweets went viral.

Every game is a must win game and they still mess up the strategies. Ben Cutting used as a bowler instead of a top order batsman. @mipaltan management 👏👏
