5 uncapped players to watch out in IPL 2019

This IPL saw a lot of franchises buying a lot of local talents when compared to the players with higher base price. Since the inception of Indian Premier League in 2008, the players are picked -up in the auctions based on their performances in their own countries or other international T20 tournaments.

Mccullum went unsold in the auctions and one of the main reasons
behind it was his poor run with the Royal Challengers last year. The former
NewZealand captain was one of the most destructive openers in the shortest
format of the game. He amassed over 2881 runs in 109 matches in his IPL career
and it is highly unlikely that he might represent the game going forward.

Last month Mccullum announced his retirement from BBL and he is looking forward for mentoring role in near future.

His little cameo with the Sunrisers Hyderabad last year couldn”t help the management to retain him for the next season. Infact, the baseprice also played a role in his omission as he was priced highly at 2 crores.

series against Australia. Pujara wasn”t able to find some buyers despite
lowering his base price.

In the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, he brought up his
century for Saurashtra. Though he is known as a renowned test player, his
interest to play the shorter formats fascinated everyone.

He last played 2014 season for Kings XI Punjab and did not get a match anytime after.

Two IPL teams in two years and couldn”t find a buyer in the third.
Royal Challengers Bangalore decided not to retain him for this edition and his
base price played the trick in finding him a reliable buyer.
