IPL 2019: Kagiso Rabada ruled out of the rest of the IPL Season

For the first time in the last seven years, Delhi Capitals have found their way to the playoffs. Every individual contributed a lot for their success in this edition of Indian Premier League.

Balance in all the departments helped them a lot to create an impact in the games this season. However, they suffered a huge blow now ahead of the playoffs.

Their bowling spearhead Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out of action and is set to return to Southafrica to be ready for the World Cup. According to sources, Kagiso Rabada suffers a back niggle and this forced him out of the side. This is indeed a worry for the side as they should completely depend on Boult and Ishant to bowl better at the death overs.

Kagiso Rabada proved his class yet again as he added 25 wickets to his bag in 12 games. His efforts to win the side in the super over against Kolkata Knight Riders was rejoiced greatly by the fans. The latest post from the official Instagram account of the franchise thanks Rabada for his miracles in the season.

Concerning the World cup, this news would really upset the Proteas fans as their star bowler Dale Steyn also succumbed to an injury (shoulder inflammation) last week.

He was called back immediately to the side to be fit for the World cup. It is to be noted that Lungisani Ngidi is currently recovering from injury and will represent the side in World cup.
