Delhi Capitals are currently on a roll in IPL 2020. So far they have just two matches and are sitting at the top of the IPL table. However, they have also been hindered by several injuries to their star players this season. The likes of Ishant Sharma and Amit Sharma are already ruled out of the season and now their most destructive player Rishabh Pant is too on the injured list.

A few matches back, Rishabh Pant suffered a hamstring injury and since then he hasn’t taken any further part in the competition. The dynamic wicket-keeper was seen giving a fitness test before the match against Rajasthan Royals but he looked less than 100%. Now with IPL 2020 already halfway through the progress of Pant will be closely monitored as he is a match-winner for his side.

Also, if the injury gets worse and Rishabh Pant is unable to feature in the remaining Delhi Capitals matches, the franchise can also look for 3 possible like for like replacements that remained unsold in IPL auction.

We try to take a close look and find out the three Indian wicket-keeper batsmen that can feature in IPL 2020 in place of Rishabh Pant:

1. Naman Ojha

The seasoned Naman Ojha is no stranger to the big stage of the IPL. In the past, we have seen his amazing exploits with the bat and also his neat glovework behind the stumps. If Pant is ruled out Ojha can be the first pick that DC might have their eyes on as replacement of Rishabh Pant as he has loads of playing in the IPL.

Ojha has also represented Delhi in IPL in the past and can be a profitable pick to replace pant. The 28-year-old has so far played 113 IPL matches in which he has amassed 1554 runs at a strike rate of 119 with the best score of unbeaten 94.
