Lee backs CSK to win IPL 2020
The Super Kings have been dealt with a major blow ahead of the start of the season. Their senior players Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh have pulled out of IPL 2020 due to personal reasons. Despite their absence, Brett Lee feels Chennai will lift the trophy.
“Hard to say but let’s go with CSK,” Lee replied to the fan on his Instagram story.

Meanwhile, another fan asked him about how the KKR bowling line-up looks with Pat Cummins’ inclusion, to which he replied “He is world-class. Definitely on the cards for KKR to be in the final 4,”.
KKR broke the bat for Pat Cummins buying him for 15.5 crores. He thus became the highest-paid overseas player in the history of the league. Lee referred to Cummins as a ‘world-class’ bowler and said that his inclusion will certainly bolster the KKR pace attack.
Meanwhile, the former Australian pacer is currently in Mumbai as a part of the Star Sports commentary team for the IPL 2020 season. Lee was a part of KKR’s first IPL title-winning side under Gautam Gambhir. Since then he has been backing his former IPL franchise to the hilt in every IPL season.
All the IPL teams have reached the UAE and got down to practice. KKR’s Caribbean contingent of players will join them directly via a flight from Trinidad. Along with the Windies players, KKR will have their Australian and England players available to them before the first match.
