The Chennai Super Kings are all set to take on the Kings XI Punjab in their final match of the season. Even though Chennai Super Kings haven’t played the best cricket in this season, they will be happy to sign off this season in emphatic fashion as they look to spoil Kings XI Punjab’s party as the Saada Punjab franchise will be knocked out if they lose the final game against Chennai Super Kings.

Both sides are likely to make few changes as Kings XI Punjab might just want to replace Glenn Maxwell with Jimmy Neesham as the latter hasn’t fired one bit in the ongoing IPL. In the following match against Kolkata Knight Riders, the young latter notched up a second consecutive fifty in this season.

In the previous few matches, Gaikwad was asked to bat in the middle order where he couldn’t flourish as he was batting out of his position but once Gaikwad was promoted he ended up showing the world what the young batsman from Pune is capable of doing. 2. Chris Gayle

The universe boss has made his way back in the playing XI and he hasn’t failed to cause an impact. In the first match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Chris Gayle notched a match-winning fifty along with KL Rahul to edge Punjab out of the losing streak.

In the match against Rajasthan Royals, Chris Gayle finally brought the storm as the Universe Boss went berserk as he went on to score a fiery knock of 99 runs. He also became the only player on the planet to hit 1000 sixes in T20s.

Faf du Plessis’ partner in crime up-top, the powerful hitter of the ball and mostly remembered for the innings which ensured that the Chennai Super Kings coasted to victory on their comeback against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

4. Arshdeep Singh

The left-arm seamer from Punjab has been a surprise inclusion for the Kings XI Punjab franchise this season. Bowling the overs upfront and in the death, the young bowler has been a revelation as he has managed to compliment well with Mohammed Shami in the seam bowling unit.

Going forward Arshdeep Singh will go on to be one of the brightest talents in Indian cricket as he’s already showcased us in this Indian Premier League what he is actually capable of doing.
