The Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently playing the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2020. SRH is chasing a target of 164 with David Warner and Vijay Shankar on the crease. During the run chase, the SRH skipper surprised everyone when he came out to bat in the middle order.

Warner during KKR became the quickest batsman to reach 5000 runs in IPL. He’s only the 4th batsman to reach the summit of 5K runs in the league after 3 Indian batting giants Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina.
However as far the number of knocks are concerned to reach the landmark, David Warner is the quickest among the 4. Warner completed 5000 runs in his 135th innings and broke the record previously held by Kohli. Also, Warner is the first overseas players to reach the landmark of 5k runs in the biggest T20 league.
