With the match expected to a clash of SRH and RCB, let’s take a look at the 5 players to watch out for in this game:

David Warner

David Warner

The Aussie batsmen will be making a comeback into the side as their captain. This news came in earlier this year that David Warner would be captaining the side instead of Kane Williamson. Quite evidently the SRH management wants Warner back as captain since he’s won the IPL once in 2016 leading the side from the Deccan.

The SRH captain is the only player in the history of IPL to win the orange cap thrice in the last few years. Last year he scored a colossal 682 runs at an average of 69 which included 8 fifties and 1 century. His undisputed record speaks for himself which is why he’s one key player we all should watch out for.

Virat Kohli

The Run Machine is another player we all should be watching for. Virat Kohli is eager to win the title as much as he’s eager to score runs for his every time. As a captain, he hasn’t had the best record for RCB but will be looking to prove a point this year.

As a player, Kohli has been one of the highest run-scorers in the history of the Indian Premier League. Well, no one can forget the dream run he had in the 2016 IPL where he notched up over 900 runs over the course of the entire season. By all means, Kohli will look to replicate the same this season for the team in Red.

Rashid Khan

Aakash Chopra picks Rashid Khan as the number 1 spinner to watch out for during IPL 2020.

The Afghan boy has been making the batsmen dance on his leg-breaks since a while now. Many consider the Afghanistan boy as one of the best leg spinners of his generation since he has put up brilliant match performances in the past. In fact in the IPL, he has been one of SRH’s key players since last 2- 3 years.

He has chipped in with wickets when it’s most needed. Also not to forget about the little cameos he plays batting down the order. In the Big Bash League, we’ve seen him smash the bowlers with his unorthodox shots, which is why we should always expect something out of the box from Rashid Khan.

Aaron Finch

The Australian captain is another player who is the talk of the town this IPL. Since over the years, RCB have lacked that experience at the top and also for a fact that they haven’t been able to convert those big starts into something really epic. Which is why the RCB team management procured the services of Aaron Finch who is expected to take them for flying starts opening the innings.

He didn’t feature in the IPL last year due to the 2019 World Cup. But before that, he’s represented teams like Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions in the past. RCB will have the great campaign this year if Finch is in the right nick because RCB are really banking on his starts this year.

Dale Steyn

The fast bowler from South Africa is another player who is just waiting to hit the deck this season. After retiring from Tests the bowler made himself available for the T20 leagues around the world very recently. Last year too he represented the Bangalore franchise but was ruled out with an injury after playing just 2 games.

This year again he’s part of the same franchise and is expected to the end overs for RCB going forward in this tournament. For sure, captain Kohli will bank hard on Steyn’s experienced bowling in death and will certainly be among 5 players to watch in the game between RCB and SRH.
