Chennai Super Kings Stalwart Suresh Raina has hinted of him making a comeback in the IPL 2020, later this season. This comes after Suresh Raina recently pulled out of the IPL due to personal reasons. The vicious attack on his family in Pathankot which resulted in the death of his uncle is the reason why the ‘Chinna Thala’ of Chennai backed out of the tournament.

After the news of Raina missing the IPL broke out, a lot many things were said about the latter’s future with the CSK. Such that N Srinivasan ended up giving a furious interview to Outlook where he lashed out on Raina missing the IPL and the money that was going to come along for him.

Furthermore, he also said how he doesn’t plan on leaving the CSK franchise for the next 4-5 years. Also for a fact that Suresh Raina holds a solid lucrative contract of 12.5 crore rupees which Raina wouldn’t even think of giving up.

“Nobody will just turn their back on Rs 12.5 crore and walk away without a solid reason. I might have retired from international cricket but I’m still young & I am looking forward to playing for them in the #IPL for the next 4-5 years.”

We could well see Raina later feature in the CSK side as the team management are yet to announce a replacement for Raina. Names are players like Manoj Tiwary were being talked about but nothing has been confirmed yet.
