The 37th Match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will see Punjab Kings (PBKS) taking on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) side. This match is scheduled to be played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. And, before this contest, former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has named the preferred playing XIs for both teams.

Chopra shared that it is time for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) to add Chris Gayle in their playing XI as well as Nathan Ellis. And according to him, both Fabian Allen and Adil Rashid should be dropped. Chopra said Gayle should bat at No.3, with Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran coming in at No.4 and No.5 respectively as well. The rest of the lineup remains the same also.

Meanwhile, according to Aakash Chopra, the Hyderabad team should stick with the same playing XI from their last match. He also added that the ‘Orange Army’ does not have too many options in their kitty.

Both the Punjab Kings and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have failed to do well in the tournament. While Punjab is placed at the 7th spot in the points table, having won just 3 out of their 9 games so far, Hyderabad is placed at the bottom, having won just a single game out of the 8 as well.

In their last match, the Punjab Kings were beaten by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 2 runs, whereas the SRH team faced a defeat in the hands of the Delhi Capitals (DC) side by 8 wickets.
