Shakib Al Hasan and first-timer Dawid Malan has found franchises for the next IPL season. While Shakib was roped in by former his former franchise KKR for 3.20 Crores, first-timer Dawid Malan was sold for his base price of 1.50 Crores to Kings XI Punjab.
Meanwhile, Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube was roped in by Rajasthan Royals for 4.40 crores. Lik Moeen Ali and Chris Morris, Dube was released by RCB ahead of the IPL 2021 auctions and now the other franchisees have benefitted from it.

Despite reports of the Bangladesh players not being available for the entire season, KKR did not back away from buying the former Bangladesh skipper. The BCCI has intimated the non-availability of the Bangladesh players to all the franchises on Tuesday night. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) that the international side will be playing a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka in May. Meanwhile, there are four Bangladesh players and nine Sri Lankan players who have registered themselves in the upcoming auction but none are retained by any franchise.
