Maxwell was brought by KXIP for 10.5 crores as the franchise broke the bank for roping in the big-hitting Australian all-rounder. He did not have a season to remember as he scored just 108 runs from 13 matches.
9. Hardik Pandya
IPL 2020 Salary – 11 Crore

The Indian all-rounder is one of the key players in the Mumbai Indians outfit. In 2019, Hardik scored 402 runs in 16 games at a whopping strike rate of 191.42 for Mumbai. He also picked up 14 wickets in 16 matches. he followed it up with another good season scoring 281 runs from 14 matches striking at 159.26.
8. Lokesh Rahul
IPL 2020 Salary – 11 Crore
IPL 2020 Team- Kings XI Punjab (KXIP)
Total IPL salary- ₹ 371,000,000
KL Rahul ended as the highest-run getter in IPL 2020. He scored 670 runs from 14 games leading Kings XI Punjab. Under him, KXIP finished sixth on the points table with six wins from 14 games.
7.Manish Pandey
IPL 2020 Salary – 11 Crore
IPL 2020 Team- Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)
Total IPL salary- ₹ 407,000,000
Manish Pandey scored 425 runs from 16 games in IPL 2020. He was a part of the SRH squad which made it to the IPL 2020 playoffs. Pandey has been a key player for Sunrisers at number three and four and has ofteen played the finisher’s role in this season. Come next season. Pandey will be expected to play with more responsibility for the franchise.
6. Ab de Villiers

De Villiers scored 454 runs from 15 games in IPL 2020 and played a key role in taking RCB to the playoffs. De Villiers who has been playing for the franchise since 2011 has yet not won the IPL title with the side.
5. Steve Smith

Smith is one of the most underrated captains in the IPL. In 29 matches as captain, Smith has won more than 65 percent of his games. He led Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020 as well. He won six games for the franchise as they finished last on the points table. Personally, he scored 311 runs from 14 matches for the side.
4. David Warner

In terms of statistics, Warner has led Hyderabad in 47 matches with a win percentage of 55.3.
