Former Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner was spotted at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium cheering for his side. Warner has been woefully out of form in this edition of the IPL. After playing the first two games of the UAE leg, he was dropped from the playing XI in the last few games.
The cameraman panned around David Warner during the eighth over of the KKR chase. The Men in Purple chased 116 to win the game getting to 12 points and holding firm to the number four spot. Earlier, in the day, Punjab Kings lost against RCB giving KKR a lifeline to stay alive in the competition still.

It was a bit stiff in the chase as the Sunrisers bowlers were able to take the game to the final over. KKR needed three off the final over as they got past the score finally much to the relief of the KKR supporters. In the process, they get to 12 points and managed to hold on to the fourth spot. Shubman Gill scored 57 off 51 balls and anchored the chase which was finally capped off by Dinesh Karthik scoring 18 off 12 balls to hand Kolkata their sixth win of this campaign.
Warner, meanwhile, scored 195 runs from eight games before being benched for the rest of the season. Earlier in the season, he hinted of this being his last season for SRH. With two new teams being added in the next IPL, the southpaw might be roped in by one of the two teams as the skipper of their side.
Kane Williamson reacted to yet another loss for his side. He said that the final score was at least 30 runs short from that 150 mark when they wanted to be.
