IPL 2021: Match 41 – KKR vs DC – 3 Players To Watch Out In MPL Fantasy Cricket

KKR DC MPL Fantasy

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will lock horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) in match 41 of IPL 2021 slated to take place on Tuesday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Kolkata, who lost the battle against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the last two overs will look to bounce back to keep themselves in the fight for a top-four finish while Delhi will be keen to keep up the winning run.

DC head coach Ricky Ponting has stressed the side needs to gain momentum at the right time and a win against KKR will help them pull away quite significantly from third-placed RCB (12 points).

On the other hand, KKR cannot afford to lose any more points with only four matches left. KKR are currently fourth in the points table with eight points from 10 matches.

On that note, let’s take a look at 3 players who will be under the spotlight during KKR vs DC during the MPL Fantasy Cricket:

#1. Shikhar Dhawan (DC)

DC opener Shikhar Dhawan has been in superlative form throughout IPL 2021, leading the team from the front. He is currently the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament with 430 runs under his belt.

Dhawan will look to continue his rich vein of form against KKR. He enjoys a terrific record against KKR, where he has scored 734 runs from 26 matches at a strike rate of 119 including six fifties.

#2. Shreyas Iyer (DC)

Shreyas Iyer, who missed the first half of IPL 2021 owing to a shoulder injury, has been in scintillating form ever since his return. The 26-year-old has scored 43 and 47* in the UAE leg to push his case for a place in the T20 World Cup 2021, scheduled to commence on October 17.

Iyer enjoys a 150+ strike rate against KKR, scoring 425 runs from 12 meetings. His aim will be to continue the good run as DC look to leapfrog CSK and take the top spot in the points table.

#3. Sunil Narine (KKR)

Sunil Narine has found his lost rhythm and looked in superlative form in the second phase of IPL 2021 while plying trade for KKR. The Eoin Morgan-led side will rely heavily on the Caribbean spinner to deliver the goods against a star-studded DC batting lineup.

Meanwhile, Narine enjoys a good record against DC, picking up 17 wickets from 16 matches at an economy rate of 7.1. It will be a tough ask for DC to keep the KKR spinner at check when both sides go up against each other in Sharjah.
